KleosAfrica Partners with Diamond Bank to Host SME Clinic
As part of its commitment to enhance the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria, KleosAfrica recently partnered with a leading Nigerian retail bank, Diamond Bank Plc, to host a monthly business clinic for entrepreneurs in Lagos.
Glory Enyinnaya, the Lead Consultant of KleosAfrica, Africa’s premier online consulting platform, stated that if the SME sector was not adequately taken care of, the nation’s economy and the people cannot develop.
She affirmed that KleosAfrica had sought to partner with the Bank when it realized that education, enlightenment and advisory services are important to the growth of small businesses, while providing online access to freelance consultants through its marketplace, www.kleosafrica.com.
The Head of Customer Experience of the Bank, Michelle Nwoga, who made a keynote address during the recent Business Clinic, noted that the bank in acknowledging the multifaceted challenges faced by SMEs had engaged KleosAfrica consultants, who had expertise in finance, strategy, business planning, human resources and marketing to provide the antidotes for entrepreneurs, which would help boost their businesses.
She also identified lack of funding, human capacity, structures and the needed requisite knowledge and skills to operate as critical factors leading to the collapse of businesses in Nigeria. To that end, she added that the clinic would avail the seasoned ‘business doctors’ the opportunity to have one-on-one discussions with business owners on specific issues affecting their businesses.
